Peace of mind
We’re proud to announce that our repair shop, Legacy Collision Center, recently achieved Gold Class status, the industry’s highest training recognition. We’re the only repair shop in the Tri-County area with this distinction. Our team is amazing! But why should you care?
It’s an issue of trust.
As our manager, Larry Laymon, explains, “Just because a wrecked vehicle is repaired and looks great on the outside doesn’t meant it’s as safe to drive as it was before. One way to know if you should trust the work is by doing business with a Gold Class shop.”
Gold Class has rigorous standards for both expertise and equipment. Industry-wide, roughly just 10 percent of all collision repair shops are certified, and you know what that means: Legacy is among an elite group. Per Gold Class standards, our technicians have been trained on the following:
• How and where to look for hidden damage that you may not see
• What can be safely repaired and what needs to be replaced
• How to inspect and repair air bags and seat belts
• Current vehicle technologies and repair techniques
To maintain this status, Gold Class shops must meet yearly training requirements, which focus heavily on new technology.
Technology in vehicles is advancing at a head-spinning rate.
“Technology in vehicles is advancing at a head-spinning rate,” says owner Edward J. Hyde, president of Legacy Automotive Network. “The only way to keep pace is through ongoing education and maintaining updated equipment. We invest in professionalism and safety, and I believe Gold Class status is a strong testament to this commitment.”
Legacy Collision Center is equipped to repair all makes and models of vehicles in the Tri-County area and beyond. Located in London, Ky., on South Laurel Road, it is part of Legacy Automotive Network, which includes Legacy Nissan, Legacy Ford Lincoln, Legacy Chevrolet Buick, GMC and Legacy Detail & Tint.
