You’ve read the news. You know about the massive recall of Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The headlines are scary. Check this one out: “Ford Recalls Nearly 1 Million Vehicles Over Potentially Explosive Airbag Inflators.” Not to be an alarmist or anything, but this is serious. There’s no click-bait in that headline.
Just be proactive and check for recalls.
Ford is urging owners of the following models to check immediately for recalls and then set up appointments with Ford service if necessary. As with all recall work, the parts are replaced free of charge.
- 2010 Ford Edge
- 2010 Lincoln MKX
- 2010 and 2011 Ford Ranger
- 2010-2012 Ford Fusion
- 2010-2012 Lincoln MKZ
- 2010 and 2011 Mercury Milan
- 2010-2014 Ford Mustang
So where should you start? First of all, don’t panic. But don’t take an “it’ll never happen to me” attitude, either. Just be proactive and check for recalls, either through the NHTSA, or by allowing us to help by contacting us below or scheduling service with us.
